Prayer for Health Care Workers

Dear Lord,
 Today we lift up our healthcare workers. Our Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacists, and all who make the hospitals and offices run. Without these incredible people we would be suffering so much more during these crazy times. On normal days we need them, and take them for granted, and today the world is running short on supplies to keep them safe as they work endlessly to care for all of us. Here at Camp we specifically lift up our medical staff who are each working in the field. We pray they are safe and will be able to join us this summer. Dr. Green, Nurse Haylee, CMA Hailee, & Nurse Tammy are planning to work with us this summer to make sure our campers are safe and cared for, and until then they each are on the front lines of this pandemic and work tirelessly for others. We also lift up Urgent Care of Cowley County, which we use on a regular basis in the summer. And the area pharmacies that play a part in our daily summer needs. Each of these places are overrun right now with needs of our society. We lift up the healthcare staff members who are family and friends to our campers and staff. Lord, please wrap these brave individuals in your love and grace. We ask that you blanket them with a net of safety and give them rest for body and spirit! Lord, hear our prayer and intercede on our behalf wipe out this virus so these people can stay safe and spend time with their families! In your Heavenly Name we pray! Amen!

This is How We Fight

This past couple of months have felt like we were preparing for war. A spiritual war, but a war nonetheless. We have been working hard to prevent this war, and preparing just in case. As a camp we have hunkered down in all the necessary ways to protect ourselves and these hallowed grounds to be used for the ministry we were created for. We have spent hours in prayer and fasting discerning what and where and when we are to move forward. There have been many divine moments of answers, nudges, gifts, and incredible weather. The enemy is still working just as hard to win this war. We have had many patrons on our trails and it has been good to see people out enjoying the weather. Each time someone doesn't follow the rules it feels like a blow, because we are trying to remain open to serve people now but ultimately our campers this summer. Prayer for Young Wonders Campers

I ask you to help these young students finish their school year by giving everything they have got in their classes. I ask that you stay within their minds and their hearts through every task whether big or small. I can't wait to be a part of their walk for You as they grow Spiritually this summer. Amen.
